In celebration of our nation’s 250th year, PhilaLandmarks is hosting an all-day affair at Historic Waynesborough. Beginning in the morning, the Museum of the American Revolution will bring its replica of George Washington’s tent and museum interpreters for a free-to-attend morning and early afternoon program on the Waynesborough grounds. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the replica tent and tour General Wayne’s historic house. Below is the full schedule for the day.

Day of Schedule:

11 am - Help put up General Washington’s tent, and learn about Washington’s leadership, and how he led the Continental Army from beneath its canvas.

12:30 - 1:15 pm - An American Musical Tribute by the Band of the 28th Infantry Division of the PA National Guard.

2 pm - 2:45 pm - A Tribute to Veterans by the Band of the 28th Infantry Division of the PA National Guard

3:30 - Join us for an late afternoon reception at Historic Waynesborough featuring cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Following a morning and afternoon celebrating and exploring the replica of George Washington's tent, this ticketed fundraiser will serve as PhilaLandmarks' organization-wide celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary.
